Vietnam and US Discuss Defence Cooperation in Phone Call Between Ministers

Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang held a phone conversation with US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth on February 7, focusing on bilateral defence cooperation. Giang congratulated Hegseth on his appointment and reaffirmed Vietnam's commitment to its independent foreign policy, highlighting the country's role as a reliable partner in the international community.
