Looking ahead, Giang expressed hope for continued high-level exchanges and the upcoming 13th Vietnam-US Defence Policy Dialogue in Vietnam. He invited Hegseth to make an official visit to Vietnam this year, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the normalization of bilateral relations.
