Mullen Automotive Secures Orders for EV Cargo Vans; Bollinger's B4 Truck Qualifies for Incentives

Mullen Automotive has received new orders for its Mullen ONE, a Class 1 commercial electric vehicle (EV) cargo van, from two major California universities in Los Angeles and Berkeley. This follows similar acquisitions by other prestigious institutions like the University of Virginia and Princeton University.

The orders were processed through Mullen's dealer partners, National Fleet Auto Group and Randy Marion Automotive Group, indicating a rising trend in the adoption of clean energy vehicles in U.S. higher education institutions.

David Michery, CEO of Mullen Automotive, expressed enthusiasm about the growing preference for their commercial EVs among universities, highlighting their role in enhancing campus operations and sustainability efforts.

Additionally, the 2025 Bollinger B4 truck has qualified for California's Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), which offers up to $60,000 in cash vouchers. When combined with a $40,000 federal tax credit, the effective cost of the B4 could drop to less than $59,000.
