Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, has unveiled a new eco-tourism attraction, the 'Primate Forest,' a 5,500-square-meter immersive enclosure featuring various primate species. The park offers visitors the chance to observe and interact with animals like red howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and night monkeys, alongside other wildlife like American and Brazilian tapirs, mandarin ducks, Chilean flamingos, toco toucans, and Brazilian brocket deer.

The 'Primate Forest' is part of the Eco Park Foz, which has been expanding its offerings to cater to the growing popularity of experiential tourism. The park also features other activities like feeding giant rabbits, mini pigs, cows, calves, and guinea pigs.

Jaime Mendes, vice president of Visit Iguassu and owner of the Del Rey Quality Hotel, emphasizes the importance of such attractions in solidifying Foz do Iguaçu's position as a leading eco-tourism destination in Brazil. He believes these initiatives will encourage longer stays and drive visitors to explore other attractions in the region.

The 'Primate Forest' is expected to contribute to the region's economic growth by attracting more tourists and generating revenue. The park also promotes environmental awareness by showcasing rescued animals and highlighting the importance of conservation.
