Dubai Health introduced the AI-powered Ambient Voice Solution (AVS) at the Gitex conference, aimed at improving healthcare documentation and reducing physician burnout.
The AVS records patient consultations, converting complaints into medical terminology and generating reports post-visit. Dr. Nada Al Mulla, a family medicine consultant, highlighted the technology's potential to alleviate the administrative burden on doctors, allowing them to focus more on patient care.
The system filters out irrelevant conversation, ensuring only pertinent medical information is documented. A recent survey indicated that 62% of physicians suffer from burnout due to excessive documentation demands.
Physicians will verify AI-generated information before filing, maintaining clinical judgment and care standards. The AVS also facilitates real-time test requests, ensuring timely patient care and reducing the risk of oversight.
Dr. Al Mulla emphasized that the technology enhances the quality of patient interactions by allowing healthcare providers to concentrate fully on their patients.
