Huawei Unveils MatePad Pro 13.2 Tablet

Huawei has launched its flagship MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet in China, featuring a robust battery and running on HarmonyOS 4.3, with an upgrade path to HarmonyOS Next.

The tablet boasts a 13.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits supporting HDR Vivid.

It supports up to 16 GB of RAM and offers storage options up to 1 TB. The dual rear camera setup includes a 13 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide module, alongside a 16 MP front-facing camera.

Audio is delivered through a six-speaker stereo system with Huawei Sound technology. The device features a 10,100 mAh battery, charging from 0 to 80% in 40 minutes, and a full charge in 65 minutes.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, with multi-band positioning supporting GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS.

The tablet measures 196.1 × 289.1 × 5.5 mm and weighs 580 g, available in black, gold, and white. Pre-orders are open on Huawei Vmall, with sales commencing on December 12.

Pricing starts at 5199 yuan (approximately $715) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant, rising to 5699 yuan (approximately $780) for 512 GB, and reaching 10,599 yuan (approximately $1460) for the top-tier model with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
