Xiaomi, known for its smartphones and electronics, is venturing further into electric mobility with its upcoming electric SUV, the YU7. Set to be unveiled this summer, the YU7 aims to rival the Tesla Model Y with a projected price of around $34,500.
The YU7 boasts impressive range capabilities, with test values indicating potential ranges of 670 km, 750 km, and 760 km, depending on driving style. Energy consumption is estimated at 16.6 kWh, 14.9 kWh, and 14.8 kWh per 100 km.
With a maximum speed of 240 km/h, the YU7 may come in three versions with slight variations. This new model follows the success of the Xiaomi SU7, which has exceeded sales expectations in China.
The MWC conference in Barcelona is approaching, where Xiaomi may reveal more details about its electric vehicle innovations.
