Elon Musk Unveils Tesla's Robotaxi and Optimus Robot at Hollywood Event

Los Angeles - At a Hollywood event on Thursday, Elon Musk introduced Tesla's long-awaited robotaxi and showcased the company's humanoid robot, Optimus. The robot, which entertained attendees by serving cocktails, quickly became the highlight of the evening.

The robotaxi, described as a futuristic vehicle without steering wheels or pedals, is expected to be available by 2026. Musk stated that the Cybercab could cost under $30,000 and will utilize Tesla's Full Self-Driving technology, which has been in development for nearly a decade.

Despite excitement surrounding the robotaxi, doubts about Tesla's autonomous driving capabilities persist. Musk expressed optimism about transitioning from supervised to unsupervised driving, where passengers could relax during their journey.

Optimus, designed for both industrial and domestic tasks, aims to assist with household chores and provide companionship. Musk indicated its price range would be between $28,000 and $60,000.

While Tesla's event focused on advancements in AI and robotics, industry experts noted that other companies are already deploying autonomous vehicles. Investors remain anxious about Tesla's ability to keep pace with competitors.
