Telkom and Microsoft Launch BigBox AI Platform to Enhance Digital Ecosystem in Indonesia

BANDUNG—PT Telkom Indonesia has unveiled BigBox, an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Analytics platform, at the Fordigi Summit 2024, thanks to a strategic partnership with Microsoft.

Komang Budi Aryasa, EVP of Digital Business & Technology at Telkom, emphasized that this collaboration supports the 'AI for the Nation' initiative, enhancing Telkom's role in Indonesia's digital ecosystem.

The partnership is pivotal for advancing BigBox, which offers features like Natural Language Processing (NLP), AI Prediction Analytics, and Computer Vision, enabling organizations to analyze large datasets efficiently.

Microsoft contributes cloud and AI technology, allowing BigBox to provide AI-powered automation and accurate data analytics. The global AI market is projected to reach USD 500 billion in 2024, with significant growth in sectors like retail, banking, and manufacturing.

BigBox not only enhances technology but also impacts users positively. Its AI Prediction Analytics helps businesses forecast opportunities based on historical data, while AI-powered automation simplifies complex processes, improving operational efficiency.

For instance, in manufacturing, BigBox has reduced machine downtime by 30%, and in retail, it has increased supply chain efficiency by 25%. Furthermore, BigBox aligns with environmental initiatives by helping companies manage energy and resources more efficiently.
