The highly anticipated second official trailer for the third installment of the beloved 'Paddington' franchise, titled 'Paddington Adventures in Peru,' has just been released.
Returning to the screen is fan-favorite Hugh Bonneville, alongside Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, known for her roles in 'The Father' and 'The Favourite.' The cast also features Antonio Banderas ('Puss in Boots'), Emily Mortimer ('Mary Poppins Returns'), Julie Walters, and Jim Broadbent.
The plot follows the Brown family as they travel to Peru to visit Paddington's homeland and his Aunt Lucy. However, they soon discover that Aunt Lucy has mysteriously disappeared into the depths of the Amazon jungle. Without hesitation, brave Paddington sets off to rescue her, with the Browns rushing to join him.
This film continues the story from the first two adaptations of Michael Bond's cherished books, which have sold millions of copies worldwide. The previous films, released in 2015 and 2018, grossed over half a billion dollars globally and received widespread acclaim, with 'Paddington 2' hailed as the best sequel in cinema history by critics.
In Ukraine, the first two films attracted over 850,000 viewers, and the upcoming third installment promises to be the most grand adventure yet for Paddington and the Brown family. 'Paddington Adventures in Peru' hits theaters on January 16, 2025.
