Michael Melham, the Mayor of Belleville, New Jersey, has shared new footage showing 'glowing orbs transforming into drones' over Long Island, adding to the ongoing mystery surrounding these phenomena.

Since mid-November, reports of these drones have surged across New Jersey and the tri-state area. Melham stated that the clips he shared on X show orbs verified not to be planes, as they hover, glow, and then move.

In a recent interview, he noted that he continues to receive drone sighting reports from all over New Jersey and Long Island. One video, captured with an infrared camera, depicts a large light changing into a fixed-wing aircraft. Another shows a bright orb over Long Island, with reports of hundreds of drones being seen nightly.

Melham expressed hope that President Donald Trump will provide clarity on the situation, as Trump promised to disclose the truth about these drones. However, skepticism remains, with some social media users suggesting the footage depicts normal planes, not drones.

Since their first appearance, reports of 'car-sized' drones have increased dramatically, with 347 sightings logged by the end of December, up from just 22 in mid-November. The Biden administration has dismissed many of these sightings as non-threatening, attributing them to hobbyist drones and other conventional aircraft.

The mystery continues to unfold, with many awaiting further information from officials regarding the nature of these unidentified aerial phenomena.
