Revolut, a fintech preferred by millions of Romanian customers as an alternative to traditional banking solutions, announced plans for significant expansion in 2025. The company's founders, Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko, revealed that Revolut will establish its own ATM network, offer mortgage loans, and launch an AI-based assistant.
This announcement was made during 'The Revolutionaries' event in London, coinciding with the company's milestone of 50 million global customers, including over 4 million in Romania. In 2024 alone, Revolut added 10 million new users.

AI Assistant
Revolut plans to introduce a new AI-driven customer assistant that will adapt to individual user needs, guiding them towards better financial responsibility and decision-making. This product will evolve as the AI's potential to simplify personal finance interactions grows.
Mortgage Loans
The company aims to launch its first mortgage product next year, initially available in Lithuania, followed by Ireland and France. The goal is to provide a fully digitalized product with instant approval and completion processes within one business day.
ATM Network
Revolut will soon begin operating a network of ATMs in Spain, allowing cash withdrawals and card issuance, enhanced with facial recognition security features. Future plans include cash deposits.
Revolut Business
In 2025, Revolut Business will introduce its first lending product for companies in Europe and plans to launch a competitive savings offer across EU markets. Additionally, the company is exploring biometric payment solutions for its new product, Revolut Kiosk, aimed at helping restaurants and shops manage operations.
CEO Nik Storonsky emphasized the importance of 2025, stating, 'We aim to revolutionize the banking sector and remain steadfast on this path.'
