Ed Sheeran's Memorabilia Auction Raises £50,310 for Charity

The Bishop & Miller auction house in Stowmarket recently hosted a charity auction that raised an impressive £50,310 for Ipswich's St Elizabeth Hospice and Zest. The event featured 200 lots of personal items from Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran, captivating fans and collectors alike.

Among the highlights was Sheeran's custom-made Fernandes ZO-3 Pokémon guitar, which fetched £11,000 from a buyer in Kent. Rob Jarvis from Ipswich also made headlines by purchasing a limited edition guitar for £3,400, marking his collection of all six of Sheeran's limited edition guitars.

Other notable sales included an Ipswich Town away shirt with Sheeran's name on the back, which sold for £2,000, and a heart painting that went for £3,500. Additionally, Sheeran's cabin sweater jumpers attracted bids of £1,000 each.

Clare Chater, director of income generation at St Elizabeth Hospice, expressed gratitude to Bishop & Miller for organizing the auction and to Ed Sheeran for his generous donations. She highlighted the unique opportunity for fans to own cherished memorabilia.

Oliver Miller, managing director of Bishop & Miller, noted the auction exceeded expectations, driven by strong pre-bids. He thanked all participants, emphasizing that the funds raised will significantly benefit the hospice.
