Separately, Mark Carney will be sworn in as Canada's Prime Minister on Friday at 11:00 a.m., succeeding Justin Trudeau. Carney's cabinet is expected to be smaller than Trudeau's. On March 13, 2025, protesters occupied Trump Tower in Manhattan, demanding the release of Mahmoud Khalil, an anti-Israel activist detained by ICE. The NYPD removed demonstrators.
