The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reported a record high in foreign direct investment (FDI) for the year 2024. The total value of FDI inflows reached 4,560 billion dollars.
The UAE attracted the most FDI in the Middle East region, accounting for 55.6% of the total FDI in the region, which is equivalent to 8,208 billion dollars. This data was released by the UAE's Ministry of Economy.
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Oman are also among the countries that have received significant FDI. The report highlights the UAE's strong position in attracting investments from various countries, including the United States, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
