The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has accused Israel of carrying out more than 20 strikes targeting military sites across various Syrian regions on Saturday.

Syrian state news agency (SANA) reported civilian casualties as a result of the strikes. The agency claimed that the majority of the Israeli attacks targeted areas around Damascus and other regions within Syria.

According to the Observatory, the strikes hit areas in Daraa, Rural Damascus, and Hama, targeting military outposts and warehouses. The strikes have been described as the most extensive since the beginning of the year.
