Russia Launches Mass Drone and Missile Attacks Across Ukraine, Injuring Civilians and Damaging Infrastructure

Overnight on March 15, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, deploying two Iskander ballistic missiles and 178 drones. The attacks targeted six regions across the country. Ukrainian forces reported intercepting 130 drones across 14 regions, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Mykolaiv. Thirty-eight UAVs were successfully neutralized without causing ground impact. In Odesa, two waves of attacks struck, damaging a private residential building in a coastal zone. A woman was hospitalized with injuries, and windows in nearby buildings were shattered. A private enterprise was also damaged. Kryvyi Rih also faced a missile strike, resulting in an emergency rescue operation. Initial reports indicate 14 injuries, including two children. In Kharkiv, three Shahed drones hit Bohodukhiv, causing a fire at a non-residential building and a country club, injuring four people. Seven private houses were damaged in the Kyiv region.
