Trump Dismisses Ukraine's NATO Aspirations; Hamas Returns Remains of Israeli Hostages

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine should "forget" about joining NATO. This statement was made shortly before his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump also rejected security guarantees for Ukraine, suggesting Europe, as a direct neighbor, should be responsible. Hamas handed over the remains of four Israeli hostages to the Red Cross. Israel confirmed the transfer, and the bodies are undergoing identification at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv. The handover occurred without the previous public displays, following Israel's request as a condition for releasing Palestinian prisoners. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran has significantly increased its production of near-weapons-grade uranium. Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% has risen by 92 kilograms since late October, reaching approximately 275 kilograms. The monthly production capacity has increased from about 8 kilograms to as much as 40 kilograms. IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi expressed "serious concern" over these developments.
