A Pumpkin with Attitude: Halloween Suddenly Got 18+-1

For Halloween, people usually buy something harmless: a glowing pumpkin, a skeleton, a witch that laughs when it moves.

But Jabberin’ Jack decided that simply scaring children was too boring.

On September 8, 2026, a mother of three posted a video on TikTok featuring a popular talking pumpkin and warned other parents: among its songs there is one that sounds… not at all child-friendly.

The song is called Wicked for One Night — “Wicked for just one night.”

At first, Jack complains that he is tired of scaring people and feels lonely. And then he suddenly shifts to some very ambiguous flirting: he suggests spending the night together, leaning in for a kiss, and promises to treat you to his “roasted pumpkin seeds.”

In other words, a person buys a fun Halloween decoration for their child, presses a button — and the pumpkin unexpectedly starts behaving like a very persistent acquaintance from a dating app.

The video quickly spread across the internet, and users’ reactions were priceless.

Some parents were indignant: why did a song like that end up in a decoration that people put up at home during a children’s Halloween?

Others, on the contrary, decided that now they want to buy Jabberin’ Jack even more.

Some users even declared that the song was too good to remove — the pumpkin should simply be sold to adults.

The manufacturer explained that the song was intended as a joke, but admitted that parents could quite reasonably find it unsuitable for children. Therefore, in future versions of the decoration, they promised to replace the track.

From the pumpkins already sold, it is, of course, impossible to delete it.

By the way, the song itself is not new: it was released back in in 2021. It's just that many owners had never gotten to it before amid the large amount of built-in content.

So the main lesson of this Halloween is simple:

before leaving a talking pumpkin to entertain the children, you should first check its playlist.

Because sometimes what lives inside it isn't a ghost.

And a romantic with very strange intentions. 🎃😄
