And suddenly three giant fluffy creatures appear in the background!
No, it's not a hallucination brought on by an excess of romance. And they're not specially invited performers.
It's simply three people in enormous costumes of fantastical animals strolling quite imperturbably along the path.
What's more, they behave so naturally, as if the appearance of three plush monsters in the middle of a park were the most ordinary thing in the world.
It turned out that they were members of the furry community — people who are into anthropomorphic animals, that is, characters with a mix of human and animal traits. Some members of this community create and wear special costumes — fursuits.
And so three such characters happened to end up in the frame at the very moment the young couple were celebrating their engagement.
The video appeared on TikTok and quickly racked up more than 10 million views.
The internet, of course, could not let it pass.
Some users were indignant: how could anyone ruin such an important and intimate moment?
Others, on the contrary, were delighted. After all, there are thousands of beautiful romantic proposals, but a proposal with an unexpected parade of giant fluffy animals is a true rarity!
Some even admitted that they would happily have invited the unusual passers-by to join them for a photo.
And the best part is that the couple themselves, judging by the video, were not fazed at all. The lovers carried on hugging and kissing while the unusual procession calmly walked past.
