The ice cream brand Dr. Bombay, which Snoop Dogg created together with his son Cordell Broadus, has opened a vacancy for an international ice cream taster.
And yes — this is a real job.
Salary: $10 000 a month.
Contract: three months.
Total: $30 000 for professionally eating ice cream.
And you won't have to sit in front of the freezer with a single spoon the whole time. The winner is offered the chance to travel, seek out unusual frozen desserts, keep track of new food trends, try interesting flavour combinations and tell the Dr. Bombay team what the whole world wants to eat right now.
The taster will also help come up with new flavours and ideas for the brand and create content about their gastronomic adventures.
The best part — a chef's diploma and experience as a restaurant critic are not required.
The company is looking for someone curious, sociable, with a good feel for new trends and, apparently, capable of still making a well-argued statement after the fifteenth scoop of vanilla:
