GTA 6 Preview on Netflix: 26 Minutes of Gameplay with Lucia and Jason

Edited by: Svitlana Velhush

On August 27, 2026, Netflix for the first time in its history showed an exclusive 26-minute gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. Viewers saw pure gameplay footage without commentary — only scenes from Vice City and the state of Leonida, inspired by Florida.

The main characters are the couple Lucia Camino and Jason Duval. The trailer highlights their Bonnie and Clyde-style relationship: they participate in heists together, switch between characters, and react to each other's actions. You can play as each individually or as a pair.

In one episode, Jason enters Lucia's apartment, takes food from the fridge, and then they go outside together. Next — car thefts, shootouts, police chases, and even a parachute jump from a rooftop. The graphics look detailed, and the world reacts to the characters' actions.

Switching between characters works smoothly, as in GTA 5, but now it is available at any point in a mission. Lucia and Jason can complete tasks together or separately, and their relationship develops based on the player's choices.

The trailer was released on Netflix six hours earlier than on YouTube. During that time, the platform faced a huge load. Rockstar confirmed the release date — November 19, 2026. For now, this is only the single-player campaign.

What exactly awaits players beyond these 26 minutes remains a question. But it is already clear: Rockstar is focusing on a living world and the personal story of the couple, not just chaos and car theft.
