GTA 6: An Extended Look at Netflix and Gameplay Discussions

Edited by: Svitlana Velhush

"Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" was released exclusively on the streaming service six hours before appearing on YouTube and consisted solely of in-game footage captured on a base PlayStation 5.

In the frame are protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple who get drawn into a criminal conspiracy in the fictional state of Leonida, inspired by Florida.

Viewers saw shootouts, car chases, switching between characters during missions, and new mechanics such as a modified wanted system with a circle on the map instead of individual markers.

Everyday activities also appeared: riding scooters, mini-golf, kayaking, diving, skydiving, and even the ability to pet dogs.

Fans are actively discussing the visual component, open-world details, and the relationship between Jason and Lucia — according to some reports, their romance may develop differently depending on player behavior.

The game's release is scheduled for November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

A week earlier, gameplay leaks occurred, which the developers called "heartbreaking."

Many note how much smoother the controls look and how much the environmental detail has grown compared to previous installments.

But should we expect that all the nuances of gameplay will be revealed already in this preview?

For now, Rockstar keeps the intrigue, and viewers share their impressions on social media and forums.
