May 7, India: Coal India Ltd (CIL) signed an MoU to supply 4,500 MW of solar and wind power to AM Green's green ammonia facilities. This is one of the world's largest renewable energy contracts. AM Green will integrate CIL's renewable energy with pumped hydro storage for a steady green energy supply. The partnership aims to produce cost-competitive green hydrogen, green ammonia, and other green molecules.
