On 13 October 2026, Alibaba unveiled the Qwen Glasses N1 and N1 Pro series of AI glasses, along with the Qwen Clip AI earbuds. The devices run on Qwen models and are positioned as a physical extension of the personal agent.
The glasses are equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor with 4K video recording support. The N1 Pro adds gaze tracking, vital-sign monitoring (heart rate, SpO2, skin temperature) and iris authentication for payments. Battery life is up to 9 hours for the base model and 8 hours for the Pro version. The Qwen Clip earbuds were developed jointly with Bose, feature an open design and let you summon the agent by voice for translation, notes and task execution.
Prices after subsidies and promotions: the N1 from 2218 yuan, the N1 Pro from 2600 yuan, and the Clip at 1099 yuan. Sales launched immediately on Taobao, Tmall, JD and Douyin. The devices are integrated with Alibaba Cloud and the QwenWork agent, which processes context from the real world — conversations, surroundings and the user's actions.
Among other Chinese manufacturers, Huawei has already been offering AI glasses since April 2026 at a price starting from 2499 yuan, while Vivo and Baidu are developing their own AI terminals for the home and wearable devices. Qwen stands out through its deep connection to a single agent that retains context across the glasses, earbuds and smartphone.
In use, the glasses allow you, for example, to look at a menu and get a translation or a recommendation, while the Pro version lets you pay for a purchase with a nod of the head. The Clip earbuds support voice programming when connected to a PC. The manufacturer did not disclose the exact battery capacities or full charging time.
Compared with Meta Ray-Ban Meta, the Qwen N1 is lower in price, and the agent's functionality is broader thanks to the Chinese ecosystem. Huawei offers similar capabilities at a comparable price, but without such tight integration with a single cloud agent. For users who already use Alibaba services, the Qwen Glasses N1 and Clip provide the most seamless access to the personal agent in everyday scenarios.
The choice between the N1 and N1 Pro should be made based on the need for health monitoring and iris-based payment.
