Mohit Sharma's mom decided to set a photo as her WhatsApp status, but instead of the usual "sonny, help me," she turned to Gemini.
And she started literally from the very beginning:
"How do I open WhatsApp?"
The AI calmly explained where to find the app. The woman opened it, reported that it worked, and Gemini moved on to the next step: find the updates section, tap to add a status, and choose a photo from the gallery.
After each action, Mom reported that she had done it all. And Gemini patiently continued the instructions and even praised her at the end: "Very good!"
Her son Mohit watched the whole thing and posted a video with the caption:
"Gemini is the son my mom always wanted." 😄
Commenters immediately picked up on the theme. Someone joked that AI has already started taking jobs away from sons. Others admitted that their moms also urgently need such an assistant: it doesn't get annoyed, doesn't say "Mom, I've shown you a hundred times already," and is ready to explain again where the right button is.
It seems the first profession that AI will truly take away from humanity won't be the programmer or the accountant.
