Sprints Announce Sophomore Album, Tour

Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

Dublin-based post-punk band Sprints have revealed their forthcoming sophomore album, "All That Is Over," slated for release in the fall of 2025. The album's creation was influenced by the band's experiences during extensive touring following their debut album, "Letter to Self." Frontwoman Karla Chubb shared that the writing process was driven by significant personal and global events.

The lead single, "Descartes," draws inspiration from Rachel Cusk's novel "Outline" and explores themes of vanity and ego. Chubb explained that the song reflects on how writing serves as a tool to process the world. The tracklist for "All That Is Over" has also been unveiled, featuring fourteen songs.

In support of the album, Sprints will embark on an extensive tour across Europe, the United States, and the United Kingdom, beginning in June 2025. The tour includes performances at various festivals and venues, such as In The Meadows Festival and Hidden Door Festival. Fans can find detailed tour information on the band's official website and social media.
