Zac Farro, recognized for his contributions to Paramore and HalfNoise, is preparing to launch his debut solo album, "Operator," on July 18, 2025. The album will be released under his own label, Congrats Records. This project signifies a shift in his musical direction, exploring a country-folk sound.

The lead single from "Operator," titled "My My," explores the emotional complexities of observing a loved one's experience. Farro describes the song as encapsulating the reflective moments present throughout the album. This solo endeavor marks a significant step in Farro's career.

Prior to "Operator," Farro's band, HalfNoise, released their fourth studio album, "City Talk," on November 17, 2023. The album incorporates influences like Japanese city pop and the energy of Los Angeles. The lead single, "Baby," was created in a short timeframe, demonstrating Farro's spontaneous approach.

"City Talk" includes tracks such as "Love & Affection," "Cool Cat," and "The Dove Has Flown." The album has received acclaim for its experimental nature and Farro's versatility in musical styles. Fans can anticipate experiencing Farro's artistic growth through both albums.
