The Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025, hosted in Basel, Switzerland, features 37 participating countries. Among them, Lithuania is represented by Katarsis, a post-punk band formed in Vilnius in 2020. Their song "Tavo Akys" offers a distinctive sound with melancholic vocals, drawing comparisons to Thom Yorke.

Latvia's representative is Tautumeitas, an ethno-folk band aiming to showcase Baltic mythology and the tradition of Dainas. Their song, "Bur Man Laimi," which translates to "Shower me with happiness," is performed in Latvian and emphasizes a connection to nature. Tautumeitas will perform in the Second Semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 15.

Finland's representative, Erika Vikman, is known for her tango dancing. Her song, "ICH KOMME," celebrates female sexuality. KAJ, a Swedish-speaking Finnish comedy trio, represents Sweden with "Bara Bada Bastu," a song about sauna culture blending rap and party music with references to the Finnish-Swedish experience. The semifinals will be held on May 13 and 15, with the grand final on May 17.
