Eurovision 2025: Sweden's KAJ Favored to Win with Sauna Anthem 'Bara Bada Bastu'

Sweden is a strong contender to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, with KAJ, a comedic trio, performing 'Bara Bada Bastu,' a song about saunas. Bookmakers estimate their chances of winning at 42%.

The song, whose title translates to 'Let's Just Sauna,' celebrates the cultural importance and relaxing aspects of saunas. KAJ member Kevin Holmstrom notes saunas as a beloved method to unwind, connect, and find tranquility.

Austria, with singer JJ and the song 'Wasted Love,' is also a favorite. Eurovision expert William Lee Adams has described KAJ's performance as 'fun, silly, and camp,' highlighting the engaging performance with towel-clad dancing. The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is expected to attract over 160 million viewers. The Grand Final is on May 17.
