The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed its inductees for the class of 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of artists. OutKast, Soundgarden, and Cyndi Lauper are among the prominent names set to be honored.
The announcement occurred during the April 27th broadcast of American Idol and was subsequently confirmed via social media platforms. Joining Lauper, Soundgarden, and OutKast in the 'Performance Category' are The White Stripes, Bad Company, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker.
Other artists nominated but not selected for induction include Mariah Carey, The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Maná, Oasis, and Phish. Despite winning the fan vote, Phish did not secure a place in the final list of inductees. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for November 8th, 2025, and will be live-streamed on Disney+.
