The new season of the revived The Grand Tour has fully premiered on Prime Video on September 4, 2026.

In total, 6 full episodes have been released.

The Grand Tour is on the road again. And yes — without Clarkson, Hammond, and May. It would seem that after such a trio, continuing the show is almost impossible. But the new lineup unexpectedly turned out to be so charming that after the first episodes you stop comparing.

On September 4, 2026, Prime Video released all six episodes of the new The Grand Tour at once. Now behind the wheel are Thomas Holland, James Engelsman, and Francis Bourgeois.

James is incredibly sweet, charming, and completely natural.

Francis is charismatic, funny, a bit odd in the best sense of the word, and very pleasant.

And Thomas is a true adventurer. You can feel that very thrill of a person who isn't satisfied with just getting behind the wheel — he absolutely must find out what happens if you go faster, farther, and preferably somewhere a normal person wouldn't even think of going.

And most importantly — all three really know how to drive and love carsSo here it is pleasant not only to watch their adventures, but also to listen to them talk about cars.

The most symbolic thing happens right at the start: the new trio meets Jeremy Clarkson, who essentially hands over the baton to them. And this is a very right moment — the old Grand Tour is not being erased or pretended never to have existed. The new team seems to receive permission to continue on their own route.

And then begins what we have always loved this show for: vast distances, incredible cars, crazy challenges, magnificent roads and stunning scenery.

Angola, Malaysia, California — the new season again turns a car show almost into a journey around the world.

At the same time, The Grand Tour remains not just a show about cars.

Here you will learn about cars, and about countries, and about people, and see places you might never reach yourself. And the dialogues are written lightly and funnily — without the feeling that between car specs you just have to wait for the next race.

All six episodes we liked very much. There is a lot of humor. Everything is top-notch!

Yes, critics have received the new trio more cautiously. The Guardian, for example, gave the reboot 3 out of 5, noting that the hosts still lack that conflicting chemistry that Clarkson, Hammond and May were famous for. But at the same time, even skeptical reviewers admit: the new team has potential.

By the way, the first reviews already single out Frances Bourgeois as a possible main star of the new trio, and automotive publications praise the knowledge and genuine passion of all the hosts.

And we liked everything.

And precisely because the new hosts do not try to become copies of the old ones.

They are different. More modern, sometimes a bit internet-savvy, but each with their own character. And together they deliver exactly what you want from The Grand Tour: the pleasure of the road, cars, humor, and the feeling of a vast world beyond the windshield.

James captivates with his charm, intelligence, and deep technical knowledge.

Frances energizes the project with unique, charismatic, and childishly sincere humor, diluting the automotive theme with lively spontaneity.

Thomas proves himself as a truly adventurous, bold, and colorful host, ready for any madness for the sake of a shot.

And although at first it is hard to get used to the new hosts, by the end of the first episode you notice an incredible lightness, which means the humor and the narrative, and indeed everything, have succeeded! Therefore, among television shows, for The Grand Tour the rating for Gaya has been and remains the highest:

The Grand Tour is back with new hosts — and we're again giving it 10 out of 10-23

10 out of 10.

But we know the truth. The dialogues in the new season are brilliantly written, and the cinematic views are simply magnificent. This show not only entertains but also allows you to learn anew both the world of high automotive technology and the amazing countries where the filming takes place. It is an ideal combination of the classic spirit of the franchise with the dynamics and sincerity of modern bloggers.

In summary: Gaya's final rating is 10/10.
Among television shows, this program has been and remains an absolute favorite. So make yourself comfortable, pour your favorite drink, and enjoy a new, thrilling chapter of legendary automotive history!
