On August 7, 2026, the Ministry of War released the fifth batch of materials from the PURSUE program. Among the 41 new files, 16 were video recordings. These videos emerged as the most prominent component of the release.
A series of six videos titled Gulf of Oman, 2021 took center stage. The footage was captured from a special AC-130J aircraft during exercises.
Infrared screens, filmed with a regular phone, displayed 'cold' orbs—objects that maneuvered in groups, sometimes resembling the behavior of dolphins. The report described them as 'multiple unidentified aerial phenomena, moving chaotically and in formation.' Experts were unable to provide a definitive explanation.
Equally compelling were recordings from the Pacific Ocean in 2019 and the Middle East from 2023–2025. Among the latter was DOW-UAP-PR134 (Middle East, 2025), which the White House specifically highlighted in its announcement.
The footage shows a sensor tracking a contrast area, with the object changing its position relative to the background. Shorter clips from 2023 and 2025 originating from the same region were also included, as well as video from the Western US in 2026.
All 16 videos remain classified as 'unresolved.' They capture objects over maritime areas and in regions where military platforms are present. The recording quality varies, ranging from professional sensors to screen recordings, but this very diversity makes the materials valuable for independent analysis.
The fifth release once again demonstrated that video evidence remains the most compelling element of the program. Each new clip adds further details but fails to resolve the overarching question. The disclosure process continues—calmly and systematically.
