Earthquake Strikes Albania, Felt Across Region

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale was registered in Albania on June 24, 2025, at 06:04 Bulgarian time. The epicenter was located near Tirana.

The event was recorded by the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The tremor was felt approximately 260 km from Kjustendil, 280 km from Blagoevgrad, and about 320 km from Sofia.

There is no information about casualties or material damage in Albania. Specialists are continuing to monitor seismic activity in the region.
