Something unusual has been unfolding in recent months, according to sources, at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, a site where the most advanced weaponry has been tested for decades. Journalist Ross Coulthart reported that then-President Donald Trump authorized a special operation by the Department of Defense (recently renamed the Department of War). The operation's objective was to intercept, and if possible, capture unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP, in order to study technologies that might originate from non-human intelligence.
According to Coulthart, senior intelligence advisors within the White House oversee the program. Responsibility for its execution falls to Secretary Pete Hegseth, with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence also involved in the process. Over the range, directed energy weapons—including lasers and high-power systems—were reportedly deployed against objects exhibiting classic UAP characteristics: instantaneous acceleration, hypersonic speeds, no visible propulsion, and the ability for trans-medium travel.
In parallel, Congressman Eric Burlison provided his own account. He recounted a briefing where military and intelligence officials detailed an operation designed to create "ideal conditions." Experts crafted a scenario intended to attract UAP, then attempt to record or intercept them.
According to Burlison, the operation was highly successful. "The entire conversation changed," he remarked. Following this event, witnessed by numerous intelligence community personnel, skepticism within the system significantly diminished. Coulthart confirmed that the incident in question specifically occurred at White Sands.
Astrophysicist Avi Loeb, Director of the Galileo Project and Chair of the UAP Science Advisory Council, responded with caution but addressed the core issue. Should the data and potential materials truly exist, scientific examination holds the key to progress. Only an independent analysis can definitively determine whether these involve non-human technologies or something more mundane.
The White Sands Range has long served as a testing ground for directed energy systems. Demonstrations for Pentagon leadership recently took place there.
Now, if sources are to be believed, these technologies may have been deployed not just against drones. According to Coulthart, the operation aims to bypass older, classified programs and obtain direct evidence.
