Two new plant species have been discovered in different parts of the world. In Texas's Big Bend National Park, a unique cactus species, named Ovicula biradiata, was identified. Scientists believe this cactus belongs to a completely new genus. The plant thrives in the desert but faces increasing vulnerability due to climate change, making its preservation crucial. Simultaneously, in Taiwan, Ukrainian and Chinese researchers identified a new plant species and named it Thismia jinzun. This discovery highlights the ongoing exploration of our planet's biodiversity and the importance of conservation efforts to protect these unique floral treasures.
