Croatia's tourism sector saw a significant boost in the first quarter of 2025, with revenue climbing by 6.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The country earned €865.5 million from foreign tourists, an increase of €54 million from the previous year. This growth highlights the enduring appeal of Croatia as a travel destination.
Minister of Tourism and Sports, Tonči Glavina, emphasized the growth, particularly in the pre- and post-season. This positions Croatia as an attractive year-round destination. The surge in revenue is due to Croatia's cultural heritage, stunning coastline, and reputation as a top European destination.
Croatia's commitment to sustainable tourism and infrastructure has also attracted a diverse range of visitors. The Croatian National Tourist Board plans to increase international airport connections, making the country more accessible. This positive trend reflects a strong recovery and growth for Croatia's tourism sector in 2025.
