Royal Jordanian (RJ) has launched a new direct flight service connecting Amman and Washington, D.C., marking a significant step in strengthening ties between the Middle East and North America. Operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Sundays, the route utilizes Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering enhanced connectivity for government, business, and tourism travelers. The inauguration was attended by key figures, highlighting the route's importance in boosting Jordan's role as a regional aviation hub and promoting tourism. RJ's CEO, Samer Majali, emphasized the strategic nature of this expansion, complementing existing direct services to other major US cities. This initiative is part of RJ's broader plan to expand its network to 60 destinations and increase its fleet to 42 aircraft. Recent additions include modern Embraer aircraft, with further additions planned, featuring enhanced cabins, entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi connectivity, promising an outstanding travel experience.
