Khanh Hoa Welcomes Norwegian Spirit: 1,900 Tourists Boost Local Tourism, Continuing Cruise Ship Boom in 2025

The Norwegian Spirit cruise ship, flying the flag of the Bahamas, docked at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on February 26, bringing 1,900 international tourists to the region. Visitors enjoyed exploring Nha Trang city through cyclo tours, scenic cruises along the Cai River, and immersive countryside visits. Some ventured further afield to Nui Chua National Park and Vinh Hy Bay in neighboring Ninh Thuan province. The Norwegian Spirit departed later that afternoon, setting course for Hong Kong. This arrival marks a significant milestone for Khanh Hoa, which has already welcomed seven international cruise ships this year, carrying over 12,500 passengers. The province anticipates the arrival of at least two more cruise ships by April, indicating a robust recovery and promising growth for the local tourism sector.
