๐ถ On 25 October 2026, in the city of Toronto (Canada), an unusual Halloween festival took place Howl-O-Ween Unleashed, where the main stars were not people but dogs. Moreover, some four-legged participants prepared so seriously that they decided not to limit themselves to an ordinary costume.
The true star of the celebration was a French bulldog named Bauer, who appeared in the guise of Marty McFly from the cult film "Back to the Future."
But the most interesting part was his transport!
The owners seated the bulldog in a miniature radio-controlled replica of the DeLorean, the famous time machine from the film. And they themselves dressed up as Dr. Emmett Brown and Lorraine McFly.
It turned out to be practically a full-fledged film crew. All that was missing was the speed of 88 miles per hour and the ability to travel into the past for extra dog treats!
The judges appreciated the family's efforts and awarded Bauer a prize for the most impressive and unusual costume.
But the competition was serious!
For example, a dog named Riley was dressed as a giant iceberg from the film "Titanic." Her owners, Sally and Darren, portrayed Jack and Rose.
For the first time in the history of "Titanic," the iceberg turned out to be the cutest character, and the audience probably worried more about it than about the ship's passengers! ๐
Another winner was 18-year-old dog named Marble, a Maltese and Shih Tzu mix. He appeared together with his owners Jenny and Sally in matching bee costumes. The family trio received an award for the best joint look of owners and pet. According to Sally, this was Marble's first victory at such a competition!
The festival itself took place in Downsview Park. In addition to the costume contest, dog entertainment, photo zones, exercise areas and a pet products fair were organized there.
In short, dogs have finally conquered Hollywood. Some travel through time, others star in "Titanic," and still others portray bees.
