Berlin's Free University Hosts "AI Week" Focused on AI in Education

From March 3-7, 2025, the Free University of Berlin will host "AI Week - Teaching, Learning and Testing with Artificial Intelligence." The event targets higher education instructors, service staff, and students interested in AI's role in higher education.

The "AI Week" features workshops, practical examples, and discussions on AI in teaching. Participants can attend individual events or thematic slots, engaging with early adopters, experts, and instructors to explore AI's potential in education. The event is online and free.

Key topics include AI in education, focusing on data and AI literacy, AI chatbot applications, and their limitations. "AI in Practice" explores optimizing AI chatbot results through precise prompting and showcases AI-supported teaching and learning settings. "AI in Exams" addresses redesigning assessments for the AI era. The event also covers support approaches for future-proof AI-integrated higher education and AI's role in student papers and academic integrity. The event is organized by the Berlin University Network for Digital Teaching (BHDL) and supported by the Innovation in Higher Education Teaching Foundation (StIL).
