Bolivia Faces Economic Impact of $1.7 Billion Due to Ongoing Highway Blockades

LA PAZ, Oct 30 - Bolivian President Luis Arce reported that highway blockades organized across the nation for the past 17 days have resulted in an economic impact exceeding $1.7 billion.

Arce noted that the protests, led by supporters of former leader Evo Morales, have also resulted in injuries to 70 individuals, including 61 police officers.
