BMW M4 CS Launches in India

The new BMW M4 CS sports car has been launched in India, priced at Rs 1.89 crores (ex-showroom). This model is the first BMW CS variant available in the Indian market and is offered through the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route.

Technologically, the M4 CS features a dual curved display, including a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, both powered by the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. It includes M Carbon bucket seats, M seat belts, and distinctive design elements such as yellow-tinted daytime running lights and multi-spoke bronze wheels.

Under the hood, the M4 CS is equipped with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine that delivers 550hp and 650 Nm of torque. Notably, turbo boost pressure has been increased from 1.7 bar to 2.1 bar, enabling a 0-100 kph sprint in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 302 kph. Enhancements to the cooling system and oil supply aim to improve performance during extended track sessions, while stiffer engine mounts boost responsiveness.

Weight savings of 20 kg are achieved through a titanium exhaust and carbon fiber-reinforced plastic components. The vehicle also features lighter wheels, with 19-inch alloys at the front and 20-inch at the rear, and comes standard with BMW's Adaptive M suspension.
