Honda Unveils Electric Motorcycle Concepts at EICMA, Aiming for Carbon Neutrality

Honda has announced its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality for all products by 2050, with a focus on electric motorcycles by 2040. At the EICMA show in Milan, the company showcased its technological advancements.

2024 will mark Honda's entry into the electric motorcycle market with two new concepts:

  • EV Fun: A recreational electric motorcycle resembling a mid-sized internal combustion engine (ICE) bike. It features a fixed battery compatible with CCS2 fast charging, offering over 100 km of urban range. Scheduled for market release in 2025.

  • EV Urban: A concept focusing on urban mobility, integrating connected technologies and proprietary batteries. Its design is reminiscent of the BMW CE-04.

These concepts are part of Honda's plan to introduce 30 electric models globally by 2030.
