Indian start-up KOGO, in collaboration with MapMyIndia, has launched India's first universal voice assistant for the automotive industry at the Bharat Auto Expo 2025. The assistant enables day planning, task management, and seamless interaction with other systems using the innovative "agentic mesh" technology, which allows direct communication between AI agents. This advancement takes voice assistants beyond basic commands.

The "agentic mesh" technology facilitates complex interactions, such as route planning and real-time service integration. The system leverages fine-tuned small language models that prioritize data privacy and security. Partnering with MapMyIndia, KOGO integrates powerful geo-intelligence features, making the platform especially beneficial for the automotive sector.

KOGO is currently in talks with six automotive manufacturers, including two in India and four internationally, projecting $4.5 million in revenue from implementations over the next 4–6 months. The platform's development took 18 months, with extensive research conducted at KOGO's innovation lab in Cochin.

Currently in beta testing, the platform is set to launch enterprise access by February 2025. According to KOGO's CEO, Raj K. Gopalakrishnan, the system is easy to integrate into vehicles and can be adapted for industries such as insurance, banking, and healthcare, offering broad applications across sectors.
