Accenture has launched LearnVantage in Italy, an AI-enhanced learning platform designed to help public and private organizations accelerate technology-driven transformations.
LearnVantage, which Accenture is using internally, offers personalized learning experiences and training content focused on digital skills and key transformation sectors. It aims to meet the specific needs of individual companies and employees while being scalable for larger audiences.
Accenture is investing over $1 billion in the platform over the next three years, in addition to its annual $1 billion investment in training for its 750,000 employees, which amounts to approximately 40 million hours of training each year. The company has also acquired Udacity, a Silicon Valley-based content provider specializing in technology skills training.
Teodoro Lio, CEO of Accenture Italy, stated, “We are proud that Italy is the first country in Europe to launch LearnVantage.” He highlighted the platform's unique learning experience, which combines international coaching networks with engaging digital content tailored to the national market.
According to an Accenture study, 51% of organizations are struggling with a lack of digital skills among their workforce. While 94% of workers express a desire to learn new skills to work with generative AI, only 5% of companies currently offer specialized, large-scale training.
LearnVantage aims to bridge this skills gap in strategic areas such as generative AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data science, supporting the upskilling and reskilling of around 9 million Italian workers.
The platform will utilize an intelligent engine that integrates with existing learning systems to quickly identify training needs and define tailored learning paths for organizations and individuals, curating content from across the ecosystem.
It will combine up-to-date Accenture content with third-party resources relevant to each organization, supported by a Learning Factory in Milan composed of advanced learning design talent.
