Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025: A Celebration of Cultural Harmony

From February 7 to 9, 2025, Udaipur, Rajasthan, will host the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival, one of India’s largest global music events, bringing together artists from around the world. Organized by SEHER in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Rajasthan, the festival aims to preserve musical heritage and foster cross-cultural connections.

Music Without Borders

Over 22 groups from 15 countries, including Argentina, Iran, and Sweden, will showcase diverse musical traditions, blending the sounds of the past and present. Indian and international artists will perform at iconic venues, such as Manji ka Ghat and Gandhi Ground, filling the air with harmony and global rhythms.

Reviving Forgotten Musical Instruments

🔹 The 2025 theme focuses on reviving Rajasthan’s traditional instruments.
🔹 A special tribute will be given to the Sarangi, one of the region’s most iconic instruments.
🔹 Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about and experience the sounds of rare instruments.

Open Access and Cultural Unity

The festival is free for all, creating a space for interaction, inspiration, and cultural exchange. Attendees will immerse themselves in a unique musical experience, discovering the richness of India’s and the world’s musical heritage.
