Måneskin frontman Damiano David is set to grace the Sanremo stage once again, but this time as a solo artist. This marks a significant return to the place where Måneskin's global success story began in 2021, when they triumphed at the festival and subsequently won Eurovision with 'Zitti e buoni.' David's solo appearance as a special guest, invited by Carlo Conti, has ignited speculation among fans about the future of Måneskin. The band previously returned to Sanremo in 2022 as guests, performing their winning hit and the emotional 'Coraline.' Adding fuel to the fire, David's solo single, 'Born With A Broken Heart,' has achieved considerable success, racking up 50 million global streams and climbing charts worldwide. He is also embarking on a World Tour 2025 as a solo act, with numerous sold-out dates across Europe, Australia, North America, South America, and Asia. Regarding his solo venture, Damiano stated, "It's one of the first pieces I wrote and in the end it turned out almost like a premonition, because in reality it's where I find myself today." While fans ponder whether this signals a permanent departure from Måneskin, Damiano has reassured them, "It's all okay. We are friends as before. It's a break, it's an Erasmus."
