For family coverage in tax year 2025, the annual deductible is set at a minimum of $5,700, an increase from $5,550 in tax year 2024. However, the deductible cannot exceed $8,550, which represents a $200 increase compared to the limit for tax year 2024.

In terms of out-of-pocket expenses, the limit for family coverage will be $10,500 for tax year 2025, up from $10,200 in tax year 2024.

The foreign earned income exclusion for tax year 2025 will rise to $130,000, an increase from $126,500 in tax year 2024.

For estates of decedents who pass away in 2025, the basic exclusion amount will be $13,990,000, an increase from $13,610,000 for those who died in 2024.

The annual exclusion for gifts will increase to $19,000 for the calendar year 2025, rising from $18,000 for the calendar year 2024.

Additionally, for tax year 2025, the maximum credit for the adoption of a child with special needs will be the amount of qualified adoption expenses up to $17,280, an increase from $16,810 in tax year 2024.
