Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated that a positive attitude is crucial for career success, particularly for those in their twenties. In an interview with LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky, Jassy emphasized, 'An embarrassing amount of how well you do, particularly in your twenties, has to do with attitude.'

Jassy, who transitioned from sportscasting and music management to Amazon in 1997, co-founded Amazon Web Services (AWS), which significantly contributed to the company's financial success. He noted that while many factors are beyond one's control, attitude remains a personal choice.

'People want to be around positive people,' Jassy remarked, highlighting that such individuals attract mentors and advocates more easily. However, he cautioned that a positive mindset must be paired with hard work and commitment to follow through on promises.

Jassy also stressed the importance of continuous learning throughout one's career. He observed that some individuals become resistant to learning as they advance, which can hinder their growth. 'The second you think you know it all is the second you're really starting to unwind,' he warned.
