In a heartwarming turn of events, Dick Van Dyke's beloved cat, Bobo, has been found safe after going missing during the Malibu wildfires. The 98-year-old actor, known for his role in Mary Poppins, shared the news on Facebook after he and his wife, Arlene Silver, successfully evacuated their home.

As they were leaving, Bobo managed to escape, prompting Van Dyke to express his concern for the feline on social media. He wrote, "Arlene and I have safely evacuated with our animals except for Bobo who escaped as we were leaving." Many fans reassured him that cats are quite self-sufficient and can survive on their own for some time.

Fortunately, upon returning home, Van Dyke announced, "We found Bobo as soon as we arrived back home this morning." Thanks to the community's interest, Animal Control was involved in the search, but Bobo was located quickly and unharmed. A picture was shared showing Silver holding Bobo with animal control officers.

The Franklin Fire, which started earlier in the week, has scorched over 4,000 acres, forcing about 20,000 residents to evacuate. Despite the chaos, the local community has shown resilience, with officials reporting significant progress in containing the fire.

As the situation improves, residents are gradually being allowed to return home, though some areas remain under mandatory evacuation orders. Van Dyke's experience reminds us of the deep bond we share with our pets and the joy they bring, even during difficult times.
